*Messages from the Universe · 1 · Prologue*

When we look up at the night sky, perhaps we are reaching for a memory of some distant star.
Beyond those points of light, souls who once set their sights on Earth—a place to learn and grow—seem to be quietly looking back at us.
Why would souls who knew lives of love and peace far out in the universe choose to come here?
Because they knew that the challenges found only here, the pain and joy found only here, could make their souls shine more brightly.
For a soul, Earth is something of a roller coaster.
We laugh, we cry, we fall, and we find our feet again.
Life here is far from easy. And still, they choose it.
In this series, I will share stories of these souls and their earthly lives—stories that may make you smile, and sometimes leave a little ache in your heart.
Perhaps they will gently stir a memory of the stars sleeping within you.
I would love to share the strange and wonderful universe I have glimpsed through my readings. 😌

Whenever I look up at the night sky, I feel a soft stirring in my chest.
I wonder how many souls live beyond those countless stars.
And I find myself thinking of the courage it took for some of them to choose Earth and travel all this way.
Among the people who come to me for readings, I often meet souls I can only describe as travelers from the stars.
Many tell me they have felt lonely, or somehow out of step with life, since childhood.
*Why is it so hard for me to feel at home in this world?*
*Why does everything here feel a little too heavy?*
In the stories that unfold during my readings, an answer begins to emerge…

**These are souls who have found their way to Earth from stars far, far away.**

There are countless stars in the universe.
Yet in the world I encounter through my readings, relatively few places are chosen as classrooms for the soul.

**Earth, it seems, is a particularly sought-after destination.**

Here we have water, air, sunlight, wind—even the tiny organisms that share our world.
To the souls in these stories, that alone makes Earth a miracle.
But it is also a place of trials.
Alongside love and kindness, there is anger, greed, domination, prejudice, conflict, and so much suffering.
One soul described coming here as “stepping willingly into a cage of wild beasts.”

And still, they choose Earth.
Because there are feelings they can experience only here.
Loneliness. Frustration. Tears. The satisfaction of accomplishing something. The effort it takes to keep going. The joy of working together.
Such deep tides of emotion are unfamiliar on the peaceful worlds these souls remember.
Here, they also meet the desires and attachments that come with being human.
They know that all of this can help a soul grow.

I once met a woman who was married, raising children, and building a family life.
Yet deep down, she had always felt the same thing:
“Talking to people is so exhausting.”
Even listening could feel like a struggle, and she would find herself retreating behind a closed door within.
During her reading, a story emerged about the roots of her soul.
On the world she remembered, there was no spoken conversation.
Thoughts passed between people in an instant, through telepathy.
No matter how much there was to say, the whole message arrived at once, like a single, complete parcel.
Seen through that story, the back-and-forth of conversation on Earth felt painfully slow and heavy to her.

Other stories have stayed with me, too.
One woman struggled with dermatitis. In her reading, I saw a soul that had lived beneath a gentler atmosphere, in a body with delicate pink skin—a soul whose story seemed to carry the same discomfort through many earthly lives.
Another reading brought the image of a man from a world with lighter gravity. He had experienced recurring lung problems, and the image that came to me was of Earth’s weight pressing heavily against his chest.
In the spiritual language of these readings, the body sometimes seems to echo the soul’s faraway beginnings: a small bump on the head recalling an antenna, or a mole behind an ear appearing like a tiny memory of the stars.
To me, these images feel like quiet traces of a soul’s long journey.

The universe is still expanding, and new stars continue to form.
We hear estimates of more than ten billion worlds that might be capable of supporting life.

Faced with such immensity, I find it hard to imagine confidently declaring that no beings like us could exist anywhere else.
Each time I encounter one of these souls in a reading, I feel the same wish:
To share something of the beauty of those who loved this planet, chose it, and found the courage to come here.

### Before We Begin

In the next installment, the stories of these travelers and their lives on Earth will begin.
They may seem to come from unimaginably far away, but the feelings at their heart are close to home.
Perhaps, somewhere deep within your own soul, a memory of those same stars is sleeping.
Through this series, I hope to gently share the lives of travelers who cry, laugh, and keep finding their way here on Earth.
